ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:


Candidate must agree to provide at least two weeks notice prior to resignation.



· Required (in order of priority):



o 1) Windows Vista and 2008 experience (at least 6 months + 5+ years in overall Windows)

o 2) Small network project management - i.e. being able to manage the subprojects necessary as part of a larger project

o 3) BackupExec and/or Legato experience (critical)

o 4) Using imaging to build master images using Ghost, Altiris, and .WIM formats

o 5) PKI/Public Key concepts, Windows Certificate Server, or similar systems

o 6) Cisco familiarity (not necessarily `expert`)

o 7) SAN familiarity (EMC ideal, but fiber channel/iSCSI concepts is fine)

o 8) Avaya S8xxx VOIP telephony systems preferred



· Additional Desired:



o 1) System Center Configuration Manager 2007 or SMS 2.x experience

o 2) NetIQ Security Manager or MOM experience

o 3) Bump-in-the-Wire techniques and deployment (Layer 2 and Layer 3 using meshing)

o 4) Hyper-V virtual server and System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008

o 5) SharePoint, SQL server, and Oracle administration (i.e. backups, etc).

o 6) Nuance IVR

o 7) Sun UNIX (Avaya CMS Specific)



· Qualifications:



o 2 Year technical degree, or equivalent education/training

o 5-7 Years in PC Support and Networking IT sector, of which 3 in networking

o Microsoft training or certification or proven aptitude through technical interview

o TCP/IP and all related tools/protocols (FTP, HTTP, OSPF, RIP, SSH, Telnet, etc)

o Experience working in controlled datacenters

o Familiarity and adherence to following proper ESD procedures

o `Expert` level skill in 1 specific area listed above



Information Architecture Tasks
Assistance with a full range of network engineering tasks
Requires a self-starter so individual can hit the ground running without extensive instruction
Make recommendations for improving operational support model
Document changes made to the environment during his/her tenure
Implement procedures for ad-hoc change management (i.e. spreadsheets or Access database) for servers and network equipment
Business tasks
Provide weekly status reports detailing progress on assigned tasks
Attend monthly meetings as requested by the CIO or Network Manager
Additional duties as assigned
