Terms: Temp-To-Perm Position: Systems Integrator, Principal Security Clearance: Active Secret Work Location: Charleston, SC Description: Provides full integration support throughout the total system life cycle (including maintenance, administration, and management), across multiple systems/applications/platforms, including an understanding of relevant policies, standards, methodologies, and frameworks. Responsibilities may focus on specific areas including customer advocacy, customer relationship building, needs assessment, requirements definition and management, process/control gate support, systems integration testing, program management support, and technical integration. Duties and Responsibilities: Candidate will perform systems integration for the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA)Net Enabled Command Capability (NECC) program. Duties will include: installing and configuring applications on MS and UNIX-based operating systems in virtual (VMware) and open source environments; obtaining, installing and configuring security patches for multiple systems; active participation on an integrated project team; other related tasks as necessary to maintain project schedule. Convert mission and customer needs into system requirements and definitions, and work directly with the customer to define and prioritize mission needs. Required Qualifications: At least three years systems integration experience; at least five years experience with command and control (C2) communications systems. Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent) and ten to twelve years of relevant experience with progressive level of responsibility in related technical and/or management disciplines. Desired Qualifications: Experience with VMware, service oriented architecture (SOA), Global Command and Control System and associated systems, open source development methodologies, Solaris 8/Solaris 10.
